 I spoke with Paul Hellyer the former Canadian minister of defense, who stated he believes UFOs are from another planet and that the U.S. Government has kept it covered up. As Canadian Minister of National Defense in 1963, Hellyer was responsible for integrating and unifying the Royal Canadian army, navy and air force into a single organization, the Canadian Armed Forces. He is outspoken about UFOs visiting Earth and the US Banking System that he feels is greatly responsible for the present economic tough times. He believes that life forms from space are present on Earth. He feels we are naive and fails to understand we are being visited by alien life forms. He had spoken with key US government officials who confirmed aliens are visiting us and providing advanced technology. Unfortunate]y he died August 21, 2021.

Paul Hellyer states:“Because I know that they are here. As a matter of fact, they’ve been visiting our planet for thousands of years and one of the cases that would interest you most if you give me two or three minutes to answer is that during the Cold War, 1961, there were about 50 UFOs in formation flying southwest from Russia across Europe, and Supreme Allied Command was very concerned and about ready to press the “Panic” button when they turned around and went back over the North Pole.

 They decided to do an investigation and they investigated for 3 years, and they decided that, with absolute certainty, four species – at least – had been visiting this planet for thousands of years. We have a long history of UFOs and of course there has been a lot more activity in the last few decades, since we invented the atomic bomb and they are very concerned about that and the fact that we might use it again, and because the Cosmos is a unity and it affects not just us but other people in the Cosmos, they are very much afraid that we might be stupid enough to start using atomic weapons again, and this would be very bad for us and for them as well.””

Editors’ Note: A fleet of UFOs flew into Germanyand  also flew into the Soviet Union from Germany causing the Soviets to believe NATO was attacking. The two world powers set up 24 hours 365 days a year instant communication and coordination concerning UFOs to avoid the possibility of a nuclear world war.

 His book, “Light at the End of the Tunnel: A Survival Plan for the Human Species” reveals that humans are hell bent for extinction unless we change our attitudes and actions with urgency appropriate to an impending disaster. Paul Hellyer suggests that we have about ten years to wean ourselves from the oil economy and profoundly regrets that the Copenhagen Conference reflected little progress in that direction.

The whole atmosphere was one that reminded him of Emperor Nero fiddling while Rome burned. World leaders simply have to do better! The book outlines the three monumental changes required to accommodate the miracle. First, the book claims that exotic energy sources already exist. They have been developed by the U.S. “shadow government” at the massive underground “black operation” installations in Nevada and Arizona using technology borrowed from visitors from other planets. Yet they remain secret for the alleged benefit of the privileged few. Second, money has to be found to subsidize poor nations and facilitate major changes. This can be accomplished by a fundamental re-working of the monetary and banking system.

 Bank leverage must be dramatically reduced and the percentage of virtual money they create as debt strictly limited so that governments can gain the financial flexibility to finance the transition to sustainability. Finally, it will be necessary for all countries, races, faiths and colors to drop their antagonisms and work together in common purpose to save the heritage they have in common.

 When Hellyer was Canada’s Minister of National Defense he stated, “I got periodic reports on sightings and I looked at them very casually, and it was decided that about 80 percent of them were natural phenomena of one sort or another, and the other 20 percent roughly were unexplained, and therefore unidentified. While spending last Thanksgiving north of Toronto, Hellyer and his wife spotted a UFO. “The two of us stood there transfixed for 20 minutes, looking up at this thing moving first in one direction, and then another. By process of elimination, we determined it wasn’t a star or satellite and it wasn’t the space station, so there was really no explanation for it other than it was, in fact, a UFO.” Thanks to Silo

 Air Force and intelligence officer Major David Grusch, co-responsible for the analysis of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) from the end of 2021 to July 2022 and a whistleblower, is also co-founder of the SOL Foundation, created in August 2023. Presented by the Nolan Laboratory and the Stanford School of Medicine in November 2023 at Stanford University, the symposium brought together an unprecedented number of leading representatives from academia, government, and industry to collectively give new academic legitimacy to UAP.

David Grusch summed up what we learned over two days discussing unidentified anomalous phenomena, a subject of immense importance. The aim was to lift the veil of secrecy imposed by the American government.

David Grusch stated: “ The realization that we are not alone in this vast universe could serve as a powerful catalyst for international cooperation, reminding us of our shared destiny as inhabitants and stewards of the Earth. Moreover, imagine the technological advancements that could stem from broad study. The integration of this kind of technology into our scientific knowledge could propel us to the future with unprecedented innovation, shaping industries, and improving our quality of life. It’s not just about knowing, it’s about the potential to revolutionize our understanding of physics, biology, and chemistry, and other foundational sciences.”

 David Grusch goes on to emphasize the philosophical and spiritual aspects of the subject. Unraveling the enigma of UAP requires a vast study encompassing physics, chemistry, biology, and other foundational sciences. The dissemination of this information must be carried out in a controlled and planned manner. David Grusch then took questions from the audience. The first question concerned reverse engineering and the real capacity of the United States to fly recovered devices and understand how they work. Grusch says he does not have permission to answer this question. The next question deals with his personal involvement in public disclosure. Grusch explained that he thought long and hard before deciding to speak out, but that for him, it was an easy decision, because as a soldier he places integrity primarily. That’s why he joined the team advising the President of the United States several years ago. He didn’t want, thirty years later, to look back and say that he hadn’t done anything while he was in government. When he saw that Congress was interested in the subject and heard about the Schumer amendment in preparation, he knew that it was time, that it was his duty to go.

He was then asked about what he thought about the nature of UAP, answering that they seem to be physically quite different from each other, but also in their behavior. He was also asked if the people Grusch had spoken to thought this was a fundamental aspect of the phenomenon.

Grusch replied that there was probably not just one form of the phenomenon, and that most of the people he had interviewed had used the term “extraterrestrial”, but he was skeptical that it had a single origin. Indeed, he’s not thrilled that the term “non-human intelligence” was used in the Schumer amendment:

Your worldview says, “anything that doesn’t look Homo sapiens must come from elsewhere”. I’m familiar with, obviously, the work that Jacques Vallée and others have done, and I think, certainly – and many scholars will probably back me up on this – I think there’s this non-corporeal phenomenon, just like as Jacques Vallée had mentioned in Passport to Magonia, it could be interdimensional, multidimensional, because the phenomenon shows itself in different forms over the years from antiquity, with the progenitor of the modern abduction phenomenon.  For Grusch, there is no indication of where UAP comes from, nor does he think that the government knows.

A question was then asked about the use of UAP technology, and Grusch was asked whether he or the foundation were considering defending a treaty banning the use of weapons resulting from such research. Grusch felt that this was a pertinent question, which they had not considered. He pointed out that the space treaty signed and implemented in 1969 governs outer space, including the Moon and other celestial bodies.

 The threats that Grusch has received as a result of his statements were also mentioned. On how researchers working on these phenomena can protect their families, he said that he was careful in what he said and wrote. Anyone with high-level clearance, or in the military, knows that they have to keep things secret. He is in favor of a legal approach involving procedures through the Inspector General and the AARO office. He encouraged everyone in the audience to do the same and offered his help. For citizens, only legal and ethical research can protect them.

 A man then asked him why Disclosure was happening now, and what he thought were the next steps for the community. For Grusch, we’re at a turning point. People have been embroiled in a whirlwind that began in 2017 with the New York Times article. Then Congress took up the subject. The potential danger of the phenomena to the national security of the United States is one of the public’s concerns. The fact that it is constantly being reported on in various media has played a key role in destigmatizing the issue, as have the government’s provisions to prevent the diversion of money from specific programs that fund exclusive access programs that are not reported to Congress (the Intel Authorization Act). In his view, this is a step in the right direction. There’s the very reason for the creation of the SOL Foundation: enabling progress to be made on the subject, just as Ryan Graves created the American For Safe Aerospace (AFSA), in order to have research channels that are independent of the US government and to obtain answers. Nevertheless, according to Grusch, it will be up to the President of the United States to disclose.

 We need to set up think tanks, foundations and venture capital-type profit-making organizations to study the material, just like the Galileo project, which deals with external data collection, and we need to find the means to identify the phenomenon in every possible way, using optical radar and so on. We need to discuss it widely and openly through conferences like this one and peer-reviewed publications. Grusch is convinced that this is the way forward.

Finally, someone asked him where he sees himself in five years’ time and what he would like to be doing. David Grusch replied that, ideally, he would like to have a private life again. He had a clear career path in intelligence before becoming a whistleblower, so becoming a public figure was not in the cards. He would like to continue working on the subject of unexplained phenomena, and he hopes to be able to return to government so that he can continue to serve his country, even in a private capacity, through a foundation. Furthermore, he is keeping his fingers crossed that the amendment will be adopted as part of the law on national defense and public procurement, and says he is open to suggestions.  Navy Arctic UFO Photos Allegedly Leaked

Blue color added to photos. From French Top-Secret Magazine. It is no secret that many magazines (especially those that are not “news” periodicals), will enhance photographs for print.

Several impressive photos of alleged UFOs over the Artic Northern Atlantic Ocean captured on camera by the Navy in 1971 have been leaked to UFO researchers, and their discovery has gotten worldwide media attention. UFO researcher Alex Mistretta claims that the images were originally given to him by an anonymous source in Europe claiming photos were from USS Trepang.

Later, he discovered that they were also published in a French paranormal magazine called Top Secret.’ Except for the blue color the rest of photos seem untouched .

To further investigate, Mistretta enlisted the help of John Greenewald, who runs the website TheBlackVault.com. He asked Greenewald to post the pictures in hopes that Greenewald and others may be able to find out more about the images.

After posting the story, it began getting international headlines. A Reddit user that goes by the name SqizCat was also able to find higher resolution copies of the images. The images are fantastic.

They seem to be of large objects aloft over the ocean, some, if not all, taken from the periscope of a submarine. The big question is are they real, and if so, what are they?

Cylinder Craft

Although this does not prove it was a weapons test, and if the object was a target balloon, it could support both sides of this story .(i.e.: taken from a submarine and taken while the submarine was submerged.)

The Investigation

In his email to John Greenewald, Jr. at The Black Vault, Mistretta listed below what his anonymous source who likely took the photos told him.

1. The photos were taken from a United State Navy submarine.
2. The location was between Iceland and Jan Mayen island in the Atlantic Ocean. (Jan Mayen belongs to Norway and is only inhabited by the Norwegian Meteorological Institute and the Norwegian military.)
3. They were taken in March of 1971.
4. The Submarine was the Navy’s USS Trepang (SSN 674) and the Admiral on board was Dean Reynolds Sackett. Obviously, the next step is to try and locate this Admiral. The Submarine came upon the object by “accident,” as they were in the region on a routine joint military and scientific expedition. Officer John Klika was the one who initially spotted the object with the periscope. Major Filer briefed Generals about UFOs and when others asked them about UFOs, they denied any knowledge.

Greenewald looked into these claims and he says that he found that Admiral Sackett was onboard the USS Trepang at the time listed. He also found that Officer Kilka was also aboard. Further, he found that the USS Trepang was in the area the source claimed at the time the pictures were allegedly taken. The triangle craft obviously is not a balloon.

Steve spoke with Admiral Dean R Sackett and I have been in touch with John Klika, both named by the source who released the pictures as principal participants in this saga. Both men were indeed on the Trepang SSN 674, in March of 1971 in the Arctic.

Admiral Dean R Sackett was listed has being on board the Trepang during the weapon tests.

USS Trepang had been Dry-docked and had an extensive workup that  may have been for arming the sub for weapons that could be used against USOs/UFOs. It is known that the military has chosen. to fire at USOs/UFOs

Admiral Sackett denied seeing anything unusual while onboard the Trepang, although UFOs are highly classified and he would be instructed to deny seeing anything. He gracefully took two phone calls from Steve and checked out the pictures that we sent him privately. He could not identify what was in the pictures. An attempted to shot down of USOs is a highly classified operation and it is very unlikely he would admit to even seeing them.  Seeing UFOs in this area is not particularly unusual.

John Klika also confirmed that he was also on the SSN Trepang in March of 1971, but told me that neither he nor anyone else saw anything unusual while in the Arctic. He found the investigation interesting reading. Both men said they don’t know what the pictures are and imply they could have been taken by someone who had access to the periscope, or even from a different sub

I have briefed officers about aliens and UFOs and they have denied I gave them the briefing.

Greenewald stated, “I feel confident in saying the Trepang was not involved in the taking of the photographs. The photographs remain a mystery and this investigation is far from  over. The veracity, or lack of, of the photographs themselves is partly removed from the location and said provenance. They may be authentic and highly unsealed, or they may be more mundane objects that in time I will identify. Furthermore, there is the issue of provenance, which is unknown.”

Are they really from the Arctic, and from an American sub? On the later point, there was another sub in the region, just a month before the Trepang, and that is the USS Skate USN 578. Ergo, the investigation continues.

Mistretta wrote: “[Kilka] found the investigation interesting reading and doesn’t know what the pictures represent. I believe them. “I feel confident in saying the Trepang was not involved in the taking of the photographs.”

Although Mistretta now believes his source’s information to be inaccurate, Greenewald found clues that indicate the images may still be real, albeit not extraterrestrial.

John Greenewald says, “When I first saw these, I noted there was something very Zeppelin-like about some of the photos, but, unlike the actual Zeppelin’s, it did not have a carrier for the occupants.”

By researching the USS Trepang’s whereabouts, he also found this on the site Hullnumber.com: “From 22 February to 22 March [1971], the nuclear attack submarine operated beneath the northern ice cap, conducting extensive tests to provide data for her weapons systems, as well as carrying out scientific experiments concerning the movement, composition, and geological history of the cap itself.”

The Naval gunnery balloons have a distinctive shape with protruding tails for stabilization. Airships, dirigibles, and target balloons all have various protrusions for control and these photos do not.

First, let me say that John Greenewald’s The Black Vault long has concluded that these photographs did not depict UFOs. I believe (and still) they the photographs probably are real (or most of them are) and probably depict Naval Weapon tests and targets. But we have to keep in mind that these photographs were originally put onto the internet, given to research by Alex Mistretta, after being scanned from the French magazine.

Greenewald’s discovery makes it possible that the images are from test balloons being fired upon by Navy submarines. There have NEVER been photos of naval training balloons that look ANYTHING like this before or since. The British launched balloons in early 1900s  from  H.M.s. Canning that looked similar to the cylinders but had a large rear ends.

 The images he found were from the early 1900s, so the question remains as to whether similar balloons were still being used in the 70s. Given the misinformation that accompanied the images in the first place, it is also possible they are Photo shopped hoaxes.

Although the media has picked up on the story, few, if any, have mentioned the investigation work done by Mistretta, Greenewald, and Murillo. By leaving out this part of the story, they leave out the fact that many UFO researchers are more than just wild-eyed believers as the media often portrays.

Editor’s Note: Personally, the photos match some of the craft I chased in the Air Force and saw in Soviet film..

1. In terms of armament, the Sturgeon attack submarines were equipped to carry the Tomahawk missile, the Harpoon missile, the UUM-44 SUBROC, the MK-48 and ADCAP torpedoes and the Mark 67 SLMM.. The Trepang may have carried some sort of Surface to Air missile (SAM) like Soviet submarines did.

Submarines defend themselves against air threats with IDAS they are able to fire guided missiles from underwater. Also, original designs of cruise missile submarines could launch from underwater via dedicated vertical launching system (VLS) tubes.

The IDAS (Interactive Defense and Attack System for Submarines) guided missile system provides submarines with a self-defense capability against airborne threats. The missile entered service in 1956.

The Trepang  Submarin’e officers  admited to testing weapon systems in the North Atlantic and these SAMs could have been tested by shooting at USOs.

 Another design difference incorporated on the Sturgeons submarines like the Tempang was a longer sail, which allowed for important intelligence gathering equipment in addition to an extra periscope. With two periscopes someone may have been able to take these photos and copies of the originals may have been made..

These pictures seem to come from another laboratory, SYGMA, about which we know nothing. Do these photos present a single and same event or are we dealing with two different events? Upon obtaining classified photos they are sent to highly classified labs.

 The craft, which looks a lot like the one in the third picture, seems to be in trouble and appears to be on fire and diving for the ocean? This photo of the cylinder appears to have the top explosion cloud enhanced.  Does it come from the depths of the ocean or is it headed there? The film appears to show  the craft on fire with heavy smoke  and descending into the water. Despite the fact that its form perfectly resembles the typical “cigar” shape of UFOs, it is still impossible to distinguish more details of its structure. Smoke is coming from  the bottom . sides , and top of the USO.  According to the letter from our “anonymous contact,” the submarine was equipped with an analog camera, thus explaining the image overlay (or double exposure?) of the visible graduations (I’m assuming they’re talking about the double crosshairs.)\

Editor’s Note: The craft appears to have been hit  probably with a missile. If these are real UFOs it is very unlikely the Admiral and Captain would admit to destroying an above Top Secret SCI alien craft. Ships are normally commanded by the rank of Captain, or Commander or lowe rankr. Rear Admirals are commanders of Submarine Groups and squadrons of submarines. It is possible a Rear Admiral would be assigned to destroy unidentified alien craft. A whole series of surface to air missiles were developed that could have been fired from submarines.  He kater commanded the US fleet in Japan.

T he areathe  USS Trepang in 1971 was operating in an area of  frequent UFO reports. During the 1960, the Vietnam War was the first modern war in which guided antiaircraft missiles seriously challenged highly advanced supersonic jet aircraft so it is possible the Trepang mounted surface to air missiles.. It is of my opinion these craft were of non-human origin and likely represent craft built under the ocean by the way a civilization  showing advanced aeronautical design and propulsion.  My students who joined the Navy claimed  they had tracked underwater craft moving at 500 mph.  I personally have seen UFOs on many occasions flying for the US Air Force .

This shows the cigar shaped UFO we’ve been hearing and spotting  for years. They’re emerging out of the water. There’s a light on one of them. Clearly not balloons.

One article claimed Admiral Dean R. Sackett Jr., who commanded the USS Trepang at the time, was the center of the incident, , if is said that while the submarine was surfaced, officers and crew members spotted unusual flying objects of various shapes and sizes. They quickly took photographs of these objects using the periscope. Tony Dodd writes, At 7.30pm on Monday, 12 February 1996, I received a ship-to-shore telephone call from a fishing vessel in the Denmark Straight, off the West Coast of Iceland. The caller told me that a huge triangular craft had appeared and was hovering low in the sky close to his boat. At that precise moment the transmission was cut off.  Approximately fifteen minutes later the caller rang again to say that all electronics on the ship had suddenly failed. He told me that he and the rest of the crew had seen the triangular object move away from the boat then suddenly descend into the sea. The moment it had disappeared all electronic power was restored.  At 9.00pm on Sunday, 18 February 1996, a further call was received from the boats at sea. On this occasion the caller told me that the whole crew was terrified because three huge black triangular objects, accompanied by three independent red balls of light, had come out of the sea and were hovering silently in the air close to their boats.  I asked if the balls of light were connected to the triangles and he said, “No they are totally separate and independent”.

The caller was asked if the triangles were showing on the ships Radar. He replied, “No the Radar is not picking them up, the whole crew is standing on the deck watching them.”  Were the objects close to the boat? “Yes, they are hovering near the port bow, we’re all scared”. Asked if he could hear any sound coming from the objects, he replied, “No there’s no sound coming from them”. Were there any lights on the triangles? “Yes there are small lights on different parts of them.”  He then said, “The whole crew is out on deck watching them”. Suddenly the transmission was lost and the phone went dead. A brief time later the connection was restored and the voice at the other end said, “The objects have now gone, they all descended and went down into the sea”.  At 3 am. On Monday, 19th February 1996 a call was received in the middle of the night, from a fishing boat at sea, off the coast of Iceland. The caller said, “We have just been watching a gigantic sphere, hovering in the air, not extremely far from our boats. It slowly moved away from us and then descended and disappeared into the sea. We have no idea what it was.”  An hour later the telephone was ringing again and once again the message was from the fishing boat.

Tubes like objects

“There are now large florescent tubes like objects hovering in the air close to our position; they are a blue color and not making a sound. All these strange things are making the crew very frightened, we don’t like all this”.  At 10.55pm. On Tuesday, 23rd. April 1996, a further telephone call was received from a ship which was fishing 200 miles Southwest of the coast of Iceland. The caller said, “You are not going to believe what we have just seen. We were fishing fairly close to a group of American Warships and suddenly there was a blinding flash of light and one of the warships just disappeared in front of our eyes. I know it sounds crazy, but I can assure you it happened a brief time ago. Soon after this an American boat came over to us an ordered us and other fishing boats to leave the area immediately.

   Our Captain didn’t need any telling, he told us to get our boat out of the area as quickly as possible and to return to our base in Iceland. We are now making our way back. The incident has upset us all, particularly the Captain, he has retired to his cabin with a bottle of whisky”. On Sunday, 19 January 1997, a large number of UFO-related events occurred off the south coast of Iceland. Reports were received of large numbers of UFOs gathering over the sea I can assure readers that these reports were coming from ships at sea, witnesses on the ground and from airline pilots.

                                               USO Over ocean      On Monday, 20 January 1997, airliners attempting to land and depart from Keflavik Airport were delayed because UFOs were seen flying in civilian air corridors. Only when the UFOs had departed did things return to normal. Spanish contacts reveal that their fishermen have also reported seeing huge  craft and other objects coming out of the sea off the coast of Iberia.   These extraordinary events are not g recent or new. Thirty years ago, pilots and other witnesses described amazing speeds and aerial maneuvers and cited their apparent ability to operate equally as well in the oceans. Perhaps they are not visitors from another planet; perhaps they have always existed in the darkest, deepest depths of our oceans. If so, could it be that their increasing appearance is tied to the ecological damage we are inflicting on our planet’s surface, as well as in our Oceans? Speculation I know, but an interesting possibility. On the other hand, what if they are indeed visitors from another planet? Why are they here and what are their intentions? They act secretly and come and go like shadows in the night, watching our every move. Why are UFOs seen so often in the vicinity of military bases, nuclear missile sites or in areas of military operations?  Is it a case of ‘know the strength of your enemy’ or one of observing a primitive culture working towards their own self- destruction?
