Why are UFOs Ridiculed?
At a certain level of government, it seems that ‘Reports of UFOs’ rather than the UFOs themselves were regarded as a threat to national security. After World War II operators who literally plugged you in when making a phone call handled telephone calls. The government became concerned that our phone system was being overrun by UFO reports. On September 24, 1952, H. Marshall Chadwell, wrote a memo to CIA Director Walter Smith stating, “I’m concerned that large numbers of phone calls, a huge volume of letters and press releases, ATIC (Air Technical Intelligence Center) had received 1500 official UFO reports since 1947, and 250 reports in July alone.
That the public concern with the phenomena, which is reflected in both in the US press and the pressure of inquiry upon the Air Force indicates that a fair proportion of our population is mentally conditioned to the acceptance of the incredible. In this fact lies the potential for creating mass hysteria and panic.”
“The U.S.S.R. is credited with the present capability of delivering an air attack against the United States, yet at any given moment now, there may be current a dozen official unidentified sightings plus many unofficial ones.
At any moment of attack, we are now in a position where we cannot, on an instant basis distinguish hardware from phantom, and as the tension mounts, we will run the increasing risk of false alerts and the even greater danger of falsely identifying the real as phantom. What could be done to stop people from reporting UFOs?”
The Robertson Panel was convened by the CIA to discuss the problem during January 14 to 17, 1953. The panel concluded UFOs were not a threat, but that the continued emphasis on the reporting of these phenomena does, in these perilous times, result in a threat to the orderly functioning of the protective organs of the body politic. This threat involved the clogging of communication channels with UFO reports, the cultivation of a morbid national psychology in which skillful hostile propaganda could induce hysterical behavior and harmful distrust of duly constituted authority. Consequently, the Panel recommended that “the national security agencies take immediate steps to strip the UFOs of the special status
they have been given and the aura of mystery they have unfortunately have acquired. The method prescribed was “debunking” UFOs. Here is the Panel’s debunking strategy from some the top scientific minds in the government such as Nobel Prize winner in Physics Dr. Luis Alverez, Dr. Lloyd Berkner director of the Brookhaven National Laboratories and Chairman Dr. H. P. Robertson director of Weapons Systems Evaluation at the Secretary of Defense.
The “debunking” aim would result in reduction in public interest in “flying saucers” which today evokes a strong psychological reaction. This education could be accomplished by mass media such as television, motion pictures and popular articles. Basis of such education would be actual case histories, which had been puzzling at first but later explained. As in the case of conjuring tricks, there is much less stimulation if the “secret” is known. Such a program should tend to reduce the current gullibility of the public and consequently their susceptibility to clever hostile propaganda. Editor’s Note: Essentially belittling and propaganda techniques were used to debunk the reality of UFOs in order to help protect the United States and other countries from propaganda that could induce hysterical behavior and clog communications channels. Robertson Panel was still putting a negative spin on UFO news at least 13 years after the panel met.
Podesta’s Reversal on UFOs Is Mystifying
The Tribune Editor writes, John Podesta was White House chief of staff under President Bill Clinton and served as co-chairman of the Obama presidential transition team.
At a November 14, 2007, news conference at the National Press Club, Podesta called for U.S. government disclosure of the UFO phenomenon, saying: “I think it’s time
to open the books on questions that have remained in the dark on the question of UFOs. It’s time to find out what the truth really is that is out there. We ought to do it because it is right. We ought to do it because the American people, quite frankly, can handle the truth, and we ought to do it because it is the law.”
According to reporter Alfred Lambremont Webre, former White House employee and Air Force 1 engineer Wilbur “Will” Allen has publicly acknowledged that there have been numerous UFO and extraterrestrial over-flights and landings on Capitol Hill, which he photographed with state-of-the-art, high-definition equipment. Allen was trained in photography and photographic analysis at a CIA laboratory and has done filming for major motion picture companies, including Warner Brothers.
Interestingly, Webre also reports that Podesta has recently urged Allen to cease his public discussion of those UFO activities, saying such disclosure could “destabilize society.”

NASA Astronauts Giving Up Going into Space
I feel the future of America is in space and we should be conducting research into advanced technology as shown by the capability of Unidentified Flying Objects as described in General Nathan Twining’s letters. UFOs have certainly conquered space flight with a huge array of craft, while only three shuttle missions remain. NASA’s moon exploration program called Constellation has already been canceled by President Obama.

Once the shuttle missions stop it will cost taxpayers over $50 million to send an American astronaut into space on other countries equipment. The US Air Force cost for rockets to send satellites into space will also double.
I hope that we are researching the propulsion systems used by Unidentified Flying Objects rather than using thousand year old rocket technology. Instead of being the leader in space countries like Japan, China, Russia, and India are swiftly moving ahead of us as we cancel key portions of our manned space program.
President Bush had instigated a flood of research and development throughout the nation by charging NASA with getting us back to the moon, and eventually to Mars. NASA began developing technologies for a new series of vehicles for this project including the Ares rockets and the Orion crew capsule, which together is called the Constellation program. Constellation represents five years of R&D and a $10-billion taxpayer investment, and it has demonstrated success. U.S. taxpayers have already invested a $100-billion dollars in the International Space Station; will be unreachable by scientists and astronauts from the U.S. without hitching a ride on Russian or Chinese space transport at a cost of over $50 million for each astronaut. Sending an astronaut or scientist to the ISS currently costs NASA $26 million per person. With the ending of the Shuttle program, requiring us to "purchase tickets" from Russia, the cost will jump to $51 million starting next year and climb to $55.8 million by 2013.

The world's oil and energy resources are rapidly depleting but sitting on the Moon surface is a vast reservoir of He3 estimated at total of 1,100,000 metric tons of He3. About 25 tons of He3 would power the United States for one year at our current rate of energy consumption. To put it in perspective; that is the weight of a fully loaded railroad boxcar, or the maximum Space Shuttle payload. The 25-tons of He3 would be worth about $100 billion $ today, or $4 billion per ton. However, Obama has decided to cancel the Constellation program that promised to bring us advanced technology and bring back a multitude of minerals and assume energy from the Moon. The solar wind has deposited on the surface of the Moon He3 down to depths of several meters. The highest concentrations are in the lunar Maria; about half the He3 is deposited in the 20% of the lunar surface covered by the Maria. To extract He3 from the lunar soil, we heat the dust to about 600 degrees C and 900 degrees to get the oxygen out.
India, China, and Japan have launched unmanned lunar mission. Russia recently announced its own ambitious lunar plans -- for not only sending cosmonauts to the Moon, but establishment of a permanent moon base.
Meanwhile Japan is planning to build a $2 billion moon base starting in 2015, followed by reflecting energy off the moon’s surface to Earth. Shimizu the Japanese construction company is planning to ring the moon with solar panels and beam the energy to Earth. Shimizu's idea is that to ensure continuous generation of power, an array of solar cells would extend like a belt along the entire 11,000-kilometer (6,835 mile) lunar equator shown here.

While destroying the U.S. human spaceflight program, the White House is directing NASA to concentrate on "earth science projects" – to research and monitor climate change. NASA is becoming kind of a weather station rather than a jumping off place for space ? Perhaps NASA will discover global warming may caused by the sun as all the planets are all heating up.
NASA has done a great deal to bolster the U.S. economy and medical system for the past fifty-plus years. Medical knowledge and technology have also benefited tremendously from NASA research. The health difficulties that humans encounter in space spawned a slew of techniques and devices that were adopted by doctors and hospitals throughout the world, saving innumerable lives and untold amounts in medical costs. Improved pacemakers, the ear thermometer, breast biopsies, ultrasound imaging systems, invisible braces etc. Thousands of high-paying, high-tech jobs involved with the Constellation program are also being lost. For every dollar the U.S. government has given NASA for space R&D, seven dollars are returned in the form of corporate and personal income taxes from increased jobs and economic growth.
Our nation as spent years in time, money, and lives to remain at the forefront in space exploration because we recognized the dangers of having communist powers rule space. Now, after our Shuttles have done most of the heavy lifting for the ISS, and our taxpayers most of the heavy paying, we are going to turn it all over to Russia and China. This places our space capabilities and experiments in their hands and poses an intolerable national security risk. I agree with former astronauts Neil Armstrong and Gene Cernan (the first and last men on the moon) who, “complain that abandonment of the Constellation project sets U.S. space capabilities on a downhill slide to mediocrity." Let's go back to the moon and on to Mars.
The Best Laws Money Can Buy
Everyone should read the July 12, 2010 issue of Time Magazine that tells how lobbyists spent $3.5 billion last year to influence your elected Congressman. How they sold you out with the new Financial Reform Bill. Essentially our politicians are being bought by the influence peddlers and our news laws are the best that money can buy. “
Those in power have made the wrong choices, and are constantly bombarded by lobbyists who convince them to spend billions on the wrong programs. I do not feel either political party has the American people and the best interest of the people at heart. I encourage you to help clean house and determine how much your congressmen has accepted from the influence peddlers? Its time to cleanup Congress from the influence peddlers who are essentially giving away billions of dollars in taxes and gifts to banks for a comparatively few dollars in their own election funds.

Billions of tax breaks are being given away along with billions of aid often to those who least need it. Yet little is done to help people losing their homes and income. I encourage you to work to put honest people in congress.
We have been told that economic meltdown was caused by banks trading in derivatives that lost those billions of dollars. The banks were too big to fail, so billions were given to them so they could continue to pay million dollar bonuses to the people who caused the failures. We are told there is new financial reform laws to stop another meltdown. The new 2319 page bill was made so difficult that few congressional representatives have read it and most could not decipher due to the deliberate legal complicated jargon put in by the lobbyists. In comparison, the Social Security Act which included unemployment compensation and child welfare was only 28 pages. The legalese wording on almost every page means billions of dollars to some banks or industry.
Time Magazine states, on Page 35, “House and senate leaders diluted the proposed rules. “Banks can now keep most derivatives trading in-house, and new restrictions will not take effect for two years. Megabanks need to raise much less money so taxpayers face a greater risk of more bailouts if the banks make bad bets.”
Big banks after receiving a huge bailout have raised their fees, posted record profits, paid enormous bonuses, and hired influence peddlers to give billions to support our Congressmen. I encourage everyone to support people running against those accepting the huge payouts. I encourage you to support new and not previously elected people of either party. According to Time Magazine, These people will be more likely to listen to the people, and to understand their needs. I encourage you to talk to these people about the necessity for UFO research. Arizona Orb and Saucer Shape
PHOENIX -- On Sunday, June 27, 2010, as my girlfriend and I drove in the desert ten miles north of Phoenix, I noticed a bright light zooming alongside our car. It was interesting enough to warrant a picture so I quickly grabbed my camera. I felt compelled to follow the light and asked my girlfriend to turn the car around so we could get a closer look.

TEMPE -- I live near Arizona State University’s campus and my friend called for me to, “Look up!” on June 2, 2010, at 9:10 PM. The object was a circle shape, so likely some kind of saucer/disk. Its altitude was several thousand feet like passenger planes approaching the airport. The craft headed south, a couple miles from me, floating over Tempe until it was out of my sight. Another neighbor also watched with us. The object was dark and had a red light on the tail that blinked occasionally. There were seven front circular lights and one light would turn off in the row of lights, and turn back on as the next one turned off resembling lighting effects on games. The object moved slowly, similar to that of a police helicopter with the bright white lights making a pattern, as the object flew. I am a 21-year-old female who just graduated from ASU. California Spheres and Cylinder
HOLLYWOOD -- So on July 1, 2010, about 4 PM, I stepped outside to smoke thinking about the sighting my friends had last week and spotted a sphere almost directly overhead. I screamed for my neighbor, “Is this what they had seen?” As we stared, we noticed a similar object move in from behind it and begin circling around the first. My friend spotted two spheres with his binoculars one dancing around the other one. We were watching for about 15 minutes when a cigar shaped object also appeared. Since the ocean looks more beautiful when viewed through my polarized sunglasses I took a picture through the lens of my sunglasses and one without. MALL OF GA -- We were close to home after watching fireworks at 10:32 PM, driving on Highway 124, we saw an orange light. It seemed stationary so I said it looked like one of those advertising balloons. Then it started moving toward us and parallel with Highway 332. The three of us bailed out of the car, including my 12-year-old son. My son and I got our cell phones out, videotaped it moving toward us, over us at a steady pace, and level and disappearing over the treetops. My husband says, “Here comes another.”

Illinois Lights
OTTAWA -- A group of us had just watched the local fireworks on July 4, 2010, when a neighbor pointed and asked, "What's that?" We were in a three-acre open field facing south toward the Illinois River. There was a silent glowing orange light moving northeast at 5,000 feet at 150 mph. The light burned steady and was too fast for fireworks or Chinese lanterns. Winds were only gusting up to 17 mph.
About 30 seconds later another light transited along the same vector but on a slightly different path parallel to the first one. We all watched it maintain its speed and altitude as it disappeared on the horizon. A third light did the same thing. My neighbor claims he saw a fourth with a dome shape above the light prior to the other three. I am a combat veteran and have seen tracers, flares, combat aircraft, ballistic devices, etc. I can come up with no comparison for what I witnessed. Thanks to MUFON CMS
ELBURN -- A large, amber glowing circular flying object was spotted, staying stationary for 40 seconds before shifting to the left and disappearing on June 17, 2010 at 9:29 PM. LAFAYETTE -- I got a call at work at 11:07 AM, asking me to look at the sun. He stated, “He and his wife, and a friend were in Indy seeing these things.” I went outside and noticed an object move out from the corona of the sun that was clearly not bugs or debris flying around. This object was moving against the wind, then stopped and held steady for over one minute and then flew back into the sun. It was quite large and joined by a host of other odd flying things. There were so many that it gave the sun the appearance of an atom with all the molecules circling about it. It was spectacular. LAFAYETTE – On June 6, 2010, I was on my patio watching a plane when I noticed lights about the size of stars flying around the sun. I contacted a Field Investigator and relayed the info. WASHINGTON D.C. -- I am visiting my Sister in Maryland, and I went out on the back deck at 10:45 PM, on July 2, 2010, and happened to glance up to see traveling south a square object with white lights in each corner over the capital. It had a flashing red strobe in the center and was flying around 2,000 feet altitude and moving slow without sound. APPLETON -- My family was camping at a lake eight miles north of town, when my brother and I noticed a bright glowing orange object moving southeast. Seven other family members observed this object that was larger than the stars and had a steady orange glow moving slowly compared to an airliner moving across the sky. STERLING HEIGHTS – On July 4, 2010, we saw several bright lights in the sky at 12:35 AM and at 12:55 AM. We have four eyewitnesses that saw these objects and took pictures. The first wave had five UFOs then 20 minutes later, we saw six.
Note: The witness is comparing his sighting to the June 29, 2010, sighting at Sterling Heights. In a voice-mail, the witness said that the objects had a "jelly fish like" appearance. YAZOO --We were coming down the street behind our house on June 19, 2010, at 9 PM, and saw something in the sky. As it got closer, it was lit up very bright and it looks like a saucer with an opening in the top of it. It just sat there hovering and then disappeared out of sight. We have a picture of the object. New Jersey Silent Ball of Light
FAIR LAWN -- I pulled my car into the driveway at 10:53 PM, on June 23, 2010, and noticed a ball of light over the trees approaching from the west. I assumed it was the headlight on an airliner, but as it inched closer, there were no FAA navigation lights. The silent light was shining like a star, with no shape just a bright shining light. As it flew overhead, a plane flew underneath landing at Newark. The object was flying a few hundred miles per hour at several thousand feet traveling on a straight path into the clouds. TRENTON – On June 21, 2010, I encountered three triangular shaped unidentified objects moving at a high rate of speed. They had three green pulsating lights that arranged into a triangle. CAPE MAY COURTHOUSE – On June 18, 2010, at 10:15 PM, I spotted a flashing white light flying very erratically. Eight summers ago, I saw my first UFO and I have intently watched ever-since. This is the second report that I have filed this week. I know the tiny patch of sky visible from my house has been teeming with highly unusual activity. I saw something flying yesterday in an extremely erratic fashion. It had a flashing white light in one-second intervals, though the pattern was somewhat irregular. Every time the light would blink off, when it blinked back on the object had moved an insanely long distance. It was moving forwards, backwards, diagonally, side-to-side, and maneuvering. The object stayed in my view moving in every possible direction, but never the same direction for very long. Finally, I just laughed and said to myself, “Show off!”

New York Strange Object
HAMPTON BAY -- I am a medium/paranormal investigator and so I am very sensitive to the strange things occurring on July 2, 2010. At 9:22 PM, I felt someone was watching me, so I got up to close the blinds and saw a bright red light coming towards my house. I estimated this array of lights to be below the low cloud cover at 1,500 to 2,000 feet. It was tracking like a hovering helicopter and flew higher. I called my Mom and told her, “We have a UFO!” and she came outside and we watched it slowly track southeast towards the beach. I got my Olympus C2100 digital camera, took two photos, and caught the object’s light display. I am a pilot, this object had no navigation lights, and there was no engine sound. Mom thought it might be a blimp -- but those have turbofan types of motors, which are very loud. This is my second UFO event on Long Island. Thanks to MUFON CMS
MALONE – The witness was driving to work as a Home Health Aide and saw a hole in the storm clouds. She took a picture of the clouds with her cell phone. SUFFOLK – On June 30, 2010, around 11 PM, a highly maneuverable object was videotaped. I received a phone call from the witness who indicated he would report it on MUFON’s website.
North Carolina Blue Lights
DUNCAN, FUQUAY VARINA -- While standing in a friend’s front yard on July 2, 2010, I noticed movement and looked to see a single object darting above the trees. The object glowing blue would dart in all directions then hover motionless and slowly turn to a single bright red dot of light. From my experience in the army airborne, I estimate its altitude between 1200 to 1800 feet very rapidly. The object would descend at various speeds below the treetops. DUBLIN – On June 17, 2010, at 9 PM, I took my daughter for an evening bike ride; when she asks me, "Mommy what is that?" We saw a cigar shaped reddish orange object followed by an F 16 fighter. It was large enough to see the distinguished shape of a cigar. It did not flash light or blink and there was no sound. If I were to point my hands in a clock type motion encompassing the entire sky, my right hand would be at one and my left at nine. My daughter and I watched it for about one minute as it quickly vanished. Thirty seconds later an F-16 fighter followed the same path. Thanks to MUFON CMS
PUT-IN-BAY -- My wife and I rode our bikes to Perry's Victory Monument on July 3, 2010, with the morning sun glowing behind the Monument I took a picture with my digital camera. I just printed the picture and I noticed a saucer to the right of the tower, about half way up. EASTON -- I was driving east on William Penn Highway on July 3, 2010, and noticed 10 to 15 orange spheres hovering above the Easton Hospital sign. At first, I thought they were radio tower lights on top of a mountain but I am familiar with the area and know there is nothing taller than the sign on the hospital in that direction. COAHOMA -- On July 5, 2010, around 9:20 PM, a UFO flew over my house when I was playing a game. My Dad, called my Mom and said, “There was something flying around in the sky.” I ran outside to see ten bright lights flying around in a triangle shape. They were flying west across the sky. My feelings turned into excitement as it floated and I tried to take a picture but it would not come out clear. It floated in the sky for about 15 minutes then just disappeared in the clouds. It just turned dark and continued floating to the west. After it was gone, all we could see was ten dark circular objects going west. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Virginia White Object
CULPEPER COUNTY – I was outside with my dogs at 10:30 PM, on June 29, 2010, and noticed an unusual light in the dark sky above the Blue Ridge Mountains 17 miles away. There is no light pollution and the light seemed to be moving slightly going up and down, and side to side almost quivering. I spent ten minutes trying to determine what it was, but with my 50-year-old eyes, I could not tell. So I got my 21 year old son and zoom binoculars and with them we realized there was actually three lights. I got my 24-year-old daughter out of bed and she came out with her Canon Power Shot SX120, digital 40 X zoom camera and started taking pictures and movies. We are in the flight path for Dulles Airport and as a plane enters in the distance, this light goes out. Four minutes later, after the plane passes, it pops back on. It seems to hide from the planes turning its light off and four separate times! Tiny lights come out of this main light, fly away and return to it. It was still visible an hour later when we quit watching.
Note: The photo and enlargement clearly shows the three lights. The apparent "intelligent behavior" exhibited by these lights is quite compelling. I wonder what the pilots of the aircraft saw? APPLETON -- I was given some photos of a delivery truck that was going to get a facelift as far as the graphics go. I was getting familiar with the images and decided that the shot taken of the side would be useful to get the right proportion for the design taken on May 28, 2009.
As I zoomed in to look at the truck surface I noticed a light or highlight in the sky above the truck. It has a metallic sphere shape with a good highlight and shadow area. Thanks to MUFON Thanks to MUFON CMS

TORONTO – On July 2, 2010, I hurried to get home with some shopping, and photographed the sky at sunset as I felt the light ships are in the sky. I could not see them so I aimed at specific parts of the sky. I zoomed in the west direction; there they were so many :-). Most of the ships were in the west at extreme height. Dominican Republic Report of a USO
The report comes from a man and his wife who were on the deck of a pleasure cruiser enjoying the night view of the ocean on April 21, 2010, at 11:40 PM. The man first noticed a "white, spherical-shaped light out on the water a couple of hundred yards away from the boat. His wife first thought it was another ship.
On the evening of Wednesday, April 21, 2010, my wife and I had returned to our room aboard a ship cruising in the Caribbean Sea at 11:40 PM, east of the Dominican Republic. We went out on to the balcony to enjoy the night air on and noticed a white spherical-shaped light out on the water a couple of hundred yards out from the ship. I remarked to my wife, "What's that light out there"? She said, "It's a ship."
Then I pointed out that it did not look like a ship light. It was very intense, bright white and there were no other lights around. Within seconds of saying this, the light began to rise up from the ocean surface. It reached a height of 30 degrees above the horizon. After rising up, the light appeared to be more spherical and began to perform acrobatic maneuvers. The object would move along a few seconds in one direction, and then dart back across the sky at a nearly 180-degree angle from the direction it was traveling. I wanted to try my new cell phone camera and shot a couple of pictures on December 29, 2009. I did not notice anything strange then but when I put the image into the PC, I noticed this flying black object, or is there something on the lens? I wonder if I shot a UFO. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Poland Light
SZCZECIN -- On June 28, 2010, I looked west towards the sunset and saw a super bright orange light coming from Germany a short distance away. Then five or six more orange spheres appeared out of thin air. I thought they were silent drifting flaming balls of fire attached to helium balloons. They moved closer together just as if it was a choreographed event. They lasted for five minutes then faded out.
Then to my surprise, there were another ten objects emerging from Germany. I was reading "Event ID 24087" that is the same thing for sure. I was observing through my 16x binoculars and did not make out any certain shape. The elevation of the spheres was 300 to 500 meters AGL. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Spain Two Orange Lights With Vapor Trial From Horizon to Horizon
VALENCIA – On June 22, 2010, at 3 AM, I looked up and saw a very thick vapor trail starting at the west horizon. I live in the mountains just outside the city and was looking up at the Milky Way. I followed the vapor trail only to see it was almost down to the east horizon with two elongated orange lights. Thirty seconds later all that was left was the vapor trail from horizon to horizon which stayed for at least fifteen minutes. I have never seen anything like it before

STOURBRIDGE -- My rang me to tell me about a sighting he'd just experienced at 11.46 AM, whilst hanging out the washing on June 29, 2010. He said, “He felt strongly he was being watched as he looked up he saw a glint in the sky.” At first, he thought it was a balloon as it was just 'hanging' there, static but after a few seconds, it glinted in the sun again.
It was a windy day, and he was perplexed as to why the 'balloon' was not drifting away.
He grabbed his camera and took eight pictures before the thing simply 'wasn't there' anymore.
It glinted like a mirror in the sun with haze underneath it. Regards, Colonel Foster
